There are plenty of options for teens that are using heroin and it is my hope that you will take advantage of these options. Heroin is a very harmful drug and can be very dangerous for an addict. In addition to the dangers involved with the drug itself there are a lot of other side effects to think about. The negative side effects include, hallucinations, clumsiness, suicidal thoughts, sleeplessness, poor judgment, and thinking you are on speed when you are not. This is just a sample of the negative side effects of Heroin and none of these effects are pleasant. There are some ways for teens to get the proper help to deal with their addiction. While being a teenager and having the opportunity to try heroin is not a “lifestyle choice” you will want to understand that you have the right to make the decision to use this drug.
